Gilty Girl Polish in Unicorn

So in my last post, we chatted about how I am in love with this new brand I discovered on Instragram. Today I wanted to show you guys one of their newer polishes Unicorn. The bottle is shown on the left in the picture below.

Unicorn is a sheer polish with opalescent glitter. I love using this one as a topcoat for my manicures. Below you can see how it transform's Sally Hansen's Jaded polish as modeled by Anna of MakeupnmorebyAnna.

I also included a little video so you cam see this color in action. Leave a comment if you can hear me instruct Anna on how to move her hand ;) !!!

Gilty Girl Nail Polish Review + GIVEAWAY!!!!

So a few weeks ago, I posted the picture below to Instragram telling you guys to stay posted for a giveaway.

This is the fabulous world of Gilty Girl nail polish and I CANNOT get OVER how adorable these polishes are when they are shipped. They have an absolutely luxurious feel from beginning to end. Alanna takes a lot of time to individually wrap each polish and just give it an amazing handmade feel which is the hallmark of a perfect indie polish.

Gilty Girl is a polish company based in San Francisco that creates the most unique colors I have seen on the market right now (traditional of indies). They are also 5 free and vegan. The bottles are a bit on the pricey side ($13) but if you are a do-it-yourself girl, this is about the same price as ONE manicure at a salon and you can get so many more uses out of the bottle.

Underneath all the wrapping were these two beauties (Unicorn on the left, Plaything on the right):

Here is a swatch of Plaything:

I cannot get over how pretty this color is!!! It's the perfect summer Barbie pink with subtle gold glitter. I love the subtle glitter because I can make this polish professional enough for work, but girly enough for playtime. This polish applied so easily and that is a HUGE winner in my book. Other indie brands I have tried just don't apply as smoothly or easily as big corporate polishes. This color went on opaque in two coats and lasted me six days before chipping. SIX DAYS. Nothing ever lasts me that long these days so big kudos to Alanna for making her polishes last that long.

Thinking about trying Gilty Girl? Well you can win your very own Plaything by entering the giveaway below:
